Thing I learned this November

Gotta love Avicile Mohaili's attitude. Just look at all these things she learned this month. Sheer fun, that's what she learned :-)

I tried to come up with my list, but it was dull in comparison. So I'll just talk about one thing I learned recently: apparently I can hit 46 with a whip on KBD. And that's with 90 strength (not 99). What amazes me is how many bonuses stack in together to produce such result: Slayer Helmet (thanks to Black Dragons assignment) + Rune Defender (thanks to extreme antifire potion) + extreme strength potion + Piety prayer. Quite a combo. Now think about it: just two years ago I wouldn't have any of these bonuses. That's how bosses get easier :-)

Alternate reality in Runescape

Avicile Mohaili exploring paranormal phenomena and documenting evidence of alternate reality within Runescape in a series of pictures which feature disappearing bridges, floating trees, sinking houses and, surprisingly, Timothy Gold ;-)

I have one (or rather two) interesting glitches to report too: try planting an oak tree in Varrock and willow tree in Taverly and, when they are grown up, chop them down and dig up the rootstocks. Watch tree shadows along the way - you'll be surprised.

g2g, real life happened

Yeap, that's exactly what happened to me during the last two days. I've been hiking around black lakes with cypresses sticking up from the water their weird roots and no people anywhere around for miles, eating still slightly astringent fruits from wild persimmon trees in the middle of a sandy pine forest, watching gulls at the ocean's shore and climbing 1 million year old river bank cliffs. This kind of stuff tends to happen when you have a map, a car, a big open country and don't have planned routes and fixed schedules. My kind of travel :-) Which is actually possible to replicate in Runescape at some degree.

Anyway, I am back.
