False Economies and Why You Can't Afford to be Cheap

Yet again I am coming back to Qeltar's epic skills leveling guide/book. This time I'd like to point you to a section about False Economies and Why You Can't Afford to be Cheap. Voice of Runescape wisdom, no less.

I see only one hole in Qeltar's logic there. In my opinion it is perfectly fine to spend your time doing all these low-level activities if you ENJOY doing them.

There are some good points there.

If you buy ores, mine the coal and superheat while mining only banking to bank bars and get more ores you can make a lot of cash very quickly, if you mine the ores and coal and smelt at a furnace you make double the cash but takes 4 times as long, that is another example of false economy.

Bunyips cost a shark and a fair amount of shards to make, using a Bunyip will save you lots of sharks when fighting and also reduces the time you need to use guthans when fighting and therefore speeding up your task.

There are countless ways of saving money by spending money but as I said in my last featured article you need to look into things deeper than first appearances.
