Interesting twist on the "old quests removal/replacement" movement Jagex has started this summer. Suddenly RSC got two exclusive quests (and the third one is coming). See Aximili E I's post about it.

Corporeal Beast is not that hard to kill

Apparently Corporeal Beast is not that difficult to deal with, at least according to G's experiences. Of course, if you go in a team of 7-8 players.

Yet another RSC reopening review

Yeap, one more review of the new (old) RSC world. I thought I should complete the topic and have it from three different points of view: active veteran RSC players (like Aximili E I), newcomers from RS2 (most of us) and finally former active RSC players who switched to RS2 and hasn't player RSC for many years. This acticle is from this third category point of view.

RuneScape Classic Temporarily Re-opened

Runescape Classic is temporary re-opened, wow! I did venture in... Oh boy... I knew upfront about many differences between RS2 ans RSC from Aximili E I posts, but I wasn't prepared for such drastic change of... everything!

First of all, I couldn't see myself - that was weird and kind of spooky. Then I figured it out and immediately got lost right behind the Lumbridge Castle. I chopped a few trees and tried to make some fires, but even that wasn't easy. Trees wouldn't fall down and fire wouldn't start. But I managed to level up both skills in the process. Then I somehow got unlost and found myself behind the river by the gates to Al-Kharid. Phew. And that was enough for a start :-)

The experience was strange, not at all what I have expected. But I liked it. I'll be coming back from time to time. I won't be doing much skilling there, but I want to see the world full of Runescape history with my own eyes.

Have you tried it? Will you keep coming back?

Why Doesn't Jagex Support Sites?

Somewhat interesting discussion on RSC about Jagex's reasons to not support any fan sites. Some good points there, but you can also get a good feel on how "my fan site centric" people become after getting involved into a particular fan site community. I wish people would be just a little bit more open minded...

Jagex is suing the Demonik owner.

Just found this info. Apparently, Jagex is suing an owner of Demonik (illegal RSC server, similar to MoparScape but for Runescape Classic). I wonder if they are also going to sue people behind MoparScape. Good thing is that, regardless of whether these lawsuits are won or lost, these illegal servers are being shut down.
