I haven't done Elemental Workshop IV yet, and now I am glad I haven't :)
It'll be much more fun after reading this post from Helm Lardar where he talks about Vitruvius's and praises his skills in metallurgy and magic.

5 items
I am catching up with all those blog posts and articles I missed :)
So here goes Helm Lardar's five items list. Sit back and try to identify five Runescape items which have a special meaning for you. Somehow, it wasn't that easy... But anyway, here are my items:
Farming Cape - an easy choice and #1 without a doubt. I like this skill too much and I've been wearing this cape for so long, that I feel weird when not wearing it. I tried to wear Herblore cape and Soul Wars cape on occasions, but it didn't feel right.
Armadyl Armor - this one is a sign of success in merchanting. I remember buying two full sets of Armadyl during one of those "end-of-summer" market crushes and then selling one of the sets for the price of two and keeping the second one for myself. I wear it since then - and getting a fair share of "you are not being efficient" comments when meleeing in it.
Robes of Elidinis - one of my favorite outfits (together with the lava battlestaff, Mind shield and Mind helmet). This is the one I used to get my first cape (Thieving) at the pyramid and this is the one I used for most of my long "end-to-end" walks in Gielinor.
Helm of Neitiznot - Neitiznot is one of my favorite areas in Runescape and the helm always reminds me of it. Every once in a while I pick a cannon and go ice troll hunting on the islands - very relaxing :) Plus the helm is still one of the best out there.
Saradomin Godsword - the most expensive item I ever bought (130M at the time) and one of the most used (and useful) ones. I don't think I'll ever go beyound this mark.
What are yours?

Improving Halls of Adventuring
Yet another very detailed overview/suggestion from Helm Lardar. This time about Halls of Adventuring in POH. To tell you the truth Halls of Adventuring has always bothered me with its emptiness and lack of changes. Now I know why :) And how it could be fixed.

Conquest in Runescape
I guess it's about time I write about Conquest. So many people have already praised this new minigame, what can I add?
Well, only the fact that I didn't like it that much. I am afraid I'll stick with chess... I mean, I like the concept and I like these kinds of games in general (Chess, Yo-gi-oh and Magic the Gathering are among my favorites), but I just don't feel good about Conquest. Don't know what it is. Maybe the field is too big and I don't like scrolling that much, or the setting and figures are too gloomy, or champions are too overpowered, or all of that together. In any case, I'm not playing this minigame...
Speaking about champions, apparently there is already a "normal" setup with three of them, which is simple and overpowering in its simplicity. That's not good. Helm Lardar is talking about it here.

Runescape Farming Guild in making
Helm Lardar is setting up Runescape Farming Guild in his blog (and being very imaginative and yet logical about it). Fascinating, umm, process - let's call it that.
Here are the first two posts:
