Plans, Promises and Jad

Introspection from the Informer on a year old Q&A session with Mod MMG. What was promised/hinted on and what actually took place. Too much negativity for my liking - I think I tend to view the last year changes in much more brighter colors. But interesting read nevertheless.

And one more link. Awesome new strategy for dealing with Jad from Troacctid. That one I definitely going to try! Nothing else worked anyway :)

P.S. Just a heads up. I'm heading to Mexico again. And this time I am looking at something between 7 and 9 weeks of work there. We'll see how it goes, but don't be surprised if my posts become even less frequent during this time.

Drumgun posts on Tip.it

Thanks to Troacctid for the pointer, here is the link to Drumgun's posts (goes to the first post, but keep scrolling - there are more in the same thread) on Tip.it. I believe he is the person with most XP in the game at the moment. If you wonder what may drive people to do something like that (18+ hours a day for years), take a look. Very interesting read in many aspects.

Personally, I am baffled. I read his explanation but I still can't comprehend it. Very alien logic and mindset. In all my life I never met anyone who would think this way. Not even close. It's almost frightening.

Fishing and Woodcutting Floccinaucinihilipilification

Don't ask me what "Floccinaucinihilipilification" is or how to pronounce it. People has to have a special kind of mind to conceive such a monstrosity.

Anyway, Troacctid is using this word to dispel myth of Woodcutting and Fishing being good money making skills. In two parts, actually:

• Fishing
• Woodcutting

Yeap, I agree, there are tons of ways to make money quicker, so if you don't like Woodcutting or Fishing, don't suffer trying to earn some cash by using them.

But still, it is always rewarding to see a log or a fish suddenly appearing in your inventory, don't you think?
