What is the price of the Quest Cape?

Amazingly, players need at least 14,091,141 exp to fulfill all formal requirements for the Quest Cape and in reality way more (like 20-30M). Beats most of the skill capes, doesn't it?

Merch Gwyar is also writing about her experiences with killing Nomad (or rather attempting to kill Nomad). Being very close to her combat levels, I guess, I am bound to have the same results... Plus I don't like using crossbows and from what I hear it is pretty much a requirement there.

So I'll wait and try to raise a few levels. I still need to do the Blood Runs Deep before I go for Nomad anyway. And I also owe another visit to Jad...

P.S. I am still working on my list. Passed all the biggies though. Had my share of confusion: killed a brutal green dragon on my way to mithril dragons and got a bone from it, then went to the deep wilderness and killed about 50 green dragons a dozen of revenants trying to get another green dragon bone before I realized that I already got one...

The Grandmaster Quest (While Guthix Sleeps)

DONE!

It took me about 6-7 hours to complete it without a guide. Very, very long quest with a decent story and generous rewards. 400K exp went to Runecrafting (Yay!). The final battle wasn't very hard, though it took me two attempts to beat the boss (during the second attempt I prayed against Magic and had DFS equipped and the battle went much easier).

If you intend to tackle the quest without a guide, just two little tips (I think Jagex went overkill in these two areas):

• Wear the Ring of Charos when talking to the laundry man.
• Have a death rune with you when trying to get to the Lucien's camp.

Everything else flows quite nicely without a guide.
