Zelda's write up about his first steps and experiences in Runescape. Good read. Brings up many memories, though my first steps were not nearly as dramatic. What I remember the most is that feeling of sheer vastness and hugeness of the Runescape world, the feeling of little kid staying in front of a pile of New Year presents waiting to be unwrapped.

My first days were a lot like yours and Zelda's.
There was this excitement over the sheer vastness of the RS map. And there so many skills to train, so many monsters to kill...
However, just like Zelda, my time on the internet was strictly limited (even harsher than his). I was on Dial-Up back then, so excessive gaming sessions would always amount to high phone bills at the end of the month.
Brings back memories, We all got scammed in one form or another back in our early noobish days. But some of my earliest rs friends are still my best ones in the game
