Really good article in Zybez blog about how we all tend to look at the past through golden goggles wishing to bring it back and complaining about not being able to do so. The only thing I disagree with the author about is his last statement: "The Golden Age is always an update away". While it is much better than "Alas, the Golden Age passed away", I still don't think it is the right attitude.
I prefer to LIVE in the Golden Age.
Golden Age is not a time period - it is a mindset and nothing else.
