It looks like the recent "DirectX" updated added a possibility to view Runescape in 3D. You'd need 3D glasses and special kind of monitor, but still. I don't have either one, so I can't really test it, but if you have them, you might want to give it a shot.
Here is a video which explains how to enable it and also shows the end result.
Warning: if you don't have 3D glasses, be careful with this video, it may hurt your eyes.
