Two major ways I use to make money in Runescape are Miscellania Kingdom management and Small Time Merchanting. While both ways do not require almost any time and do not involve 'skill grinding', it is the later one I like the most. Because it is fun! Small Time Merchanting not only profitable but also involves helping out other players.

I think flipping or merchanting is one of the best money making ways out there. I have a guide using the grand exchange in free trade on my blog if anyone is interested.
