Either I commented on this before or there is a draft of a post half done that is along the same lines.
I have noticed since you can no longer benefit from peoples deaths that players are more inclined to help, it is rare to see a grave and someone not bless it, I always bless a grave when I see it just in case there is anything there, you get a bit of prayer xp (not that I need it) but you get a good feeling that you have anonymously helped someone you don't know.
It may just be the novelty of blessing a grave but its a lot nicer then standing on top of someone hoping they die.
I believe that people always prefer to be good to others when they have an equal choice.
Thanks for the link!
What's weird, and a little disheartening is that some people have come to expect that their grave will get blessed. They come back, get their stuff, and not even a thank you. I haven't experienced it myself, I'm only at 68 Pray and have repaired stones, but I've seen it. That person just saved all your stuff! A thank you only takes 10 keystrokes after hitting "enter."
But you're right, I do think that aspect has gotten a little "nicer" in the terms of gameplay. I'm hoping that at least some of that holds up after the PvP updates.
