Is Pking back in Runescape?

Take a look at this article that questions necessity of giving to much attention and resources to restoring pking in Runescape. While I know that clans are rejoicing PvP worlds, it looks like that vast majority of the players is simply ignoring them. And you can see it not only in number of players using these worlds, but also in a fact that prices for PvP supplies (such as blood runes) are down to the bottom limits.

So what is it? Too many pkers left a year ago and never returned? Or were there simply not that many pkers to start with?

The statement that PKers weren't the majority, they just shout the loudest has to be spot on.

The PVP worlds are always the emptiest. Aside from a few obviously busy spots, you can play for hours and not come across another player. I absolutely love them, and I have no interest in PK. It takes the competition out of slayer spots. But shhh, don't tell anyone.

I have been experimenting with using PvP worlds for non-PK stuff. And, like g said, they are great! The Wild is especially good because PvP worlds don't have revenants.

Word will eventually get out and these worlds will become more popular.

Yes, a lot of PKers left. But I find it interesting that many who remain are not able to adapt to the new PvP. Things are different. Until these kids can be told exactly what to do in online guides, they will keep on trying the old way of doing things and they will keep on being disappointed.

I am still chickening to train in PvP worlds... Maybe I should give it a try.
