Good answer to Jagex haters from Tip.it. I will also add a proof I found recently of the constant battle between Jagex and bots.
Interesting articles, posts, guides and discussions which appear every day on Runescape related sites, forums and blogs.

Call this far-flung, but why doesn't Jagex just require all accounts to enter a visual code during sign-up? Or why don't they do it during the game in place of some of the random events?
The author makes good points, but there's obviously a bit too much Jagex fanboyism going on on his side. "They're keeping us safe from bots!!" Well, autobuyers are very annoying, I know. But the biggest problems lie in skill macroing and that's still a problem that Jagex isn't attempting to effectively solve.
Most peoples complaints are out of ignorance.
Jagex is driven by money now but the way to get more money is to give the customer what they want.
They have made great leaps in stopping all macro's despite them losing £100,000's revenue from it, the wizards around draynor willows are so bored now.
Jagex have a lot to do, keep people interested with regular updates, keep it playable by finding and removing bots, dealing with a large amount of player reports, fixing bugs, the list is endless.
And mushroom the idea of the visual "Captcha" code wouldn't help a great deal it only takes a few seconds for a human to enter the code, but not in a random please, try having a sleep in classic sooo annoying.
People will always complain, but Jagex do a great job for the majority of people, they put a lot of thought into everything they do, there are always good reason why they can or cant do things that you or I may think are simple to implement.
Yes, there are a lot of things I'd like to see done better in the game, who don't? But at the same time I am quite pleased with Jagex's steps this year. They are methodically addressing some of the major problems related to the game safety, bots and macroing.
I wish though they would also make a few steps towards fan sites and the external community. I know that fan sites could provide much more useful and interesting services to the players, thus contributing to the overall Runescape success, if Jagex start being just a little bit more open.
