How to train Magic in Runescape?

You know it is more to Runescape Magic training than high-alchemy and Camelot teleport. In fact, neither one of these ways is the fastest way up. Those are just relatively cheaper ways with still decent exp per spell. Take a look at this useful research Kitt Fox put together and see if some of the spells there look compelling to you. I found a few there I am going to try.

Not sure how that is going to help you train magic.

The best way (Cheapest) I found to train magic is,
Magic dart on spiritual warriors at GWD, good profit.
Magic dart or chaos spell with gaunts at black demons, good xp cost a little.
Magic dart or Chaos with gaunts Iron dragons, can make good money but slow xp.
Hi alch, slow xp, low money loss.
Ice barage PC, monkey zombies or mummies in chaos tunnels, very fast xp very expensive.

It was just a basic cost analysis of some of the big magic spells.

With the GE out, more people have access to buying runes at a cheap price. I've found many players want to know how much it'll cost to burst at PC or rock crabs. They aren't overly worried about making money, but rather the fastest way to level mage.

That kind of cost analysis isn't very useful without some advice on what to kill. Anyone with a calculator can add up the cost of runes.

Examples like: crumble undead in the Mage Guild basement and telegrabbing the herbs they drop to pay for the cost of the runes, wouold be much more helpful.

Well, Kitt's calculations helped me. I started to thing about new ways to train Magic. I do believe that this post may help other players as well, maybe not as a strict guide, but as a good starting point and thinking material.
