- Responding To Aximili E I's request, here is a list of Runescape blogs I currently follow. Some blogs on the list are not active anymore, but new blogs appear every week. I also read fan sites news papers (which rarely have RSS/ATOM feeds enabled), some forums, about 40 twitter accounts (including official Jagex ones) and do periodical Google searches. By the way, if you have a Runescape blog and it is not on the list, please, post a link to your blog in the comment and I'll be happy to include your blog into the list.

I checked almost all the blogs to see if there would be any that I'd follow, but then a great majority of them is about "today i lvled x", "today i lvled x", "today i lvled x" you get the point... everyone in runescape has to train his skills, it's extremely common, so it's just boring to read that.
Someone should make a guide on how to run an interesting blog one of these days, in my opinion.
Thanks Vaskor!
Icey Dan's vid has tips for Rs blogging and on of them was Merch saying:
"The biggest tip that I could give is that, if you’re writing a Runescape blog, then your readers are coming to read about Runescape. My entire life doesn’t revolve around Merch Gwyar, but this blog might make it look like it does. I only write about Runescape related things here. While writing about gaining levels is good for your own record, it might not be all that interesting to other people. Try to think of something that happened that was interesting or funny or exhilarating en route to that level. A better blog might be, ‘I was in Fally Bank and I overheard this player say to another one…. blah blah blah’, then at the end of your story say, ‘Oh and, by the way, I got ‘x’ level in fishing’. That sort of thing."
but a written guide might work better
Aximili that's a good point you made there, or at least a quote. That's exactly how I run my blog, at least when I'm on my membership. Generally when I open a blog and see people talking about their personal life or listing the levels they got, I immediately close the blog and don't come back cause it's just pointless for me.
Opps! Then you won't like my blog days, lol(stats changes are first but I hide them behind a hide/spoiler tag...)... well maybe... I do try and brighten up my blog day posts(outside of RCH comic at the end of course...) but sometimes it was a boring day for me especially since until recently I couldn't do the "I was in Fally Bank and I overheard this player say to another one…. blah blah blah" as between bots and no RSC 2 RS2 chat not much interesting happened in that regard ,lol. Not every day is dry...
Somtimes I hold off something interesting I find for a planned vid or non blog day post, but not always... And I'm always working on a project or 2 (like 2 upcoming comparison vids ;) )
I keep IRL out of my blog unless it will affect how/when I post...
I've read your blog and I quite liked it actually. I've added it to my blog list so I can read it everyday now. One thing I'd like to suggest, tho, is a different theme. That one is too flashy with all the colours, in my opinion. But the read, organisation and all is fairly good. ^^
Yeah... might bring the tone down a bit and see if that helps...
Hello everyone!! I am yet a new Runescape blogger!! Please add my blog
http://runescapebits.blogspot.com/
I have been reading Runescape reader's digest for a little while and decided to start my own aswell... perhaps can you add it to the listings? thanks! =P
This is my Runescape blog:
thersaptimes.blogspot.com
Please add it, and I really like your blog!
Silvertaler, yeah, I second Aximili E I, take a look at Icey Dan's video. But quite honestly, I personally don't mind Runescape blogs about daily activities. People write blogs for different reasons and I am not the one to judge anybody. Besides, I've seen a lot of interesting posts and ideas coming from such daily activities blogs over time.
Runescapebits and Greatruneboy, thank you for the links. I'll be following your blogs from now on.
Yeah, bottom of the list!
X is such an awesome letter :P
No need to watch the video, I always knew how to run my blog my own way, but yeah I agreed with his point any day of the week.
I would appreciate it you would add my blog it is at:
ezenaku.blogspot.com
E Zenaku, sure.
I also subscribed to your blog.
Just started out on an rs-only blog. simple013.blogspot.com The first one was/is at Sals Realm http://runescape.salmoneus.net/forums/index.php?autocom=blog&blogid=82& Maybe you could give either of them a glance over.
My blog is Runescape Diary: The Silver Fox
silverfox45.blogspot.com
Simple and Silver Fox, thank you for the links. I subscribed to your blogs and also added them to the main blog list.
I'm also new to RS blogging (albeit been blogging real life for a number of years running). Back to playing RS after 2 years of stopping.
Do add me.
